Turnus (for so he was called chief) was a man of great courage both worthy of praise and pleasing and dear to Amata. But Latinus was making Turnus not great, because he had heard the prophetic words, when the oracle, Fanus the parent, was instructing the fate. “No my son, make nothing of the Latin marriage, for a foreign man will come for your Lavania. Meanwhile Aeneas had left the five rivers of Erebus and he was being carried across the sixth big wide river to the highest land. Then with his comrades he sailed to Latium in eight ships. While they were dinning on the shore, a place where they are lacking tables, they were able to have food on bread in place of tables. As they were eating the bread after dinner, small Ascanius then shouted: “Hercules, so we are eating tables” Immediately the words of the foul Harpy came to the mind of Aeneas with a few prophetic words of his parent, Anchises and the happy man shouted, “We arrived, finally we arrived at the Hesperian land, where we will build a new city!”
Then Aeneas sent 100 brave messengers, also men of good counsel, to the Latin town, Laurentum, meanwhile the rest of the Trojans were building camps on the shore.
